On June 7, 2025, the Brothers of Burden Bearer Lodge #1 held their annual Fish Fry fundraiser. Worshipful Master Bowen manned the fryer while the other Brothers ensured the guest had a good time. If you attended the event, what was your favorite food item?

BEAST MODE!!
On Sunday, June 25, 2023, The Brothers of Burden Bearer Lodge #1 bore the burden of the Houston heat to feed members of a North Houston housing community. A need was seen and the Brothers stepped up to show people still care for the less fortunate, disenfranchised, and humanity as a whole. As much as the community was appreciative, the Brothers were just as gracious for the opportunity to live up to Masonic principles.

On June 10, 2023, The Brothers of Burden Bearer Lodge #1 hosted a crawfish broil. The crawfish were plentiful and very tasty, surprisingly a good size for late in the season. Brother Gatlin did his thing on the boiler. A good time was had by all in attendance.

On April 22, 2023, the Brothers of Burden Bearer Lodge #1 hosted a fight party to watch undefeated Gervonta “Tank” Davis take on undefeated Ryan Garcia.  The fight between the two was billed to determine who would become the “Face of Boxing.” There was good food and good drinks for the good people who came out to see a good fight. The fight ended with a seventh round stoppage of Ryan Garcia. Garcia took a knee and was unable, or unwilling, to get up from an unseemingly devastating left hook to the body from Tank Davis. Everyone in attendance enjoyed themselves. Please let us know when is the next fight party Burden Bearers!
