On April 19, 2025, the Brothers of Descendants of Jesse Lodge #4 hosted an Easter Egg hunt for the local community. Many eggs were found by the children to their delight.

Descendants of Jesse Lodge #4 has established and operate an ongoing supply closet to help the local children in the community with items such as clothing and school supplies.
On Saturday, August 9, 2025, the Brothers of Descendants of Jesse Lodge #4 threw a “Hotdog Fuel Party.” A back to school event to benefit the residents at the Acadian Village and Woodstone Apartment complexes in their jurisdiction of Lafayette, LA. There were plenty of smiles and full bellies seen throughout the day. A good time was had by all who participated.
